DON'T BEGIN THE DIVORCE PROCESS WITHOUT A PLAN

  • Rushing through the process to "get it over with" may "cost you" emotionally and financially!

  • If you are thinking of divorce, you have undoubtedly been thinking about the emotional effects
on you, your family, your finances and life in general.
  • Have you tried marriage counseling? If not, you may want to try this route before you
proceed with divorce.  If your spouse won't agree to go, it never hurts to go on your own.
It can help you gain perspective, re-evaluate and become stronger for what lies ahead.  If
you have children, it is favorable in the eyes of the court to see that you have tried
      everything.
  • Thinking and planning ahead will help you have a better understanding of the situation and
        all that lies ahead.
  • The Getting Started page will provide you with step-by-step instructions to help organize your
    life ahead!
