Each family is different.  The size of the family, life

stresses, schedules, relatives and different

parenting skills come into play when thinking

about what will help the whole family feel

happy and successful in their lives together.

I have found that many of the parents that I work

with have read "tons" of parenting books.  So

many have wonderful and valuable information

but the more they read, the more confused they

feel!   The books all give ideas and suggestions

but can't see your family as a whole.  When you

read,  take your own family dynamics into

consideration.  What works for one family may

not work for another.  I feel that the most

important thing to do is to be

CONSISTENT!

That means: SAY IT,  MEAN IT  and FOLLOW

THROUGH!

This technique alone will bring a generalized

level of
success.

Easy to say, but not easy to do!  No one ever

said that parenting was easy!  But the rewards

so outweigh the problems!  And if you ever

feel that your problem side is greatly

outweighing your reward side, I'm here to

help!

Read through some of the articles for

different suggestions.  I will continually be

adding articles and parenting tips, so

check in when you can!
